Hi All! Mark and I have started looking at houses and I decided to put together this blog to outline some of the houses we're looking at.

This first one is the one we like best so far. It's in the neighborhood we want and it's a great old house, from what we can see. It has a few cosmetic flaws but, for the most part, it's in pretty great shape.

Sounds good, eh? Take a look at some pictures we took:
Enclosed front porch, where all the new kitchen stuff is being kept.
Living room. All the furniture you see has been left here and most likely comes with the house. Pretty sweet!
Dining room
Sitting room across from the dining room.
Kitchen. Unfinished, but a work in progress. The cabinetry sitting on the front porch is maple. We think there may be new countertops, as well.
Bathroom off the kitchen.
New washer and dryer in the bathroom off the kitchen.
Above: 1st Bedroom. Dig the funkywallpaper. :)
Below: floor in the master bedroom. There are hardwood floors underneath all the carpet on the second floor but there seems to be tile on top of the hardwood in the master bedroom (red and yellow under the pad). We think this was next on the list of rooms to be redone by the owner.
2nd BR facing the stairwell.
This is this upstairs bathroom. It's pretty much entirely redone.
Big bad heater in the basement. Not sure how old it is, but we do know the heat is gas and forced air.
